Either:
(a) Post your own version with a link to Artlit's fake in the description
or
(b)Post one with the reference picture first, Artlit's second, and yours third. Label them and provide a link to the ref pic and Artlit's.

I think that should do it!

It does seem to be confusing some people, except the ones who know about Artlit's "drawing".

Perhaps writing "Artlit is a fake!" on the front of a sledge hammer and then pounding it into their brains would be a better strategy. If they are willing to dedicate undying praise to something that has been proven to be fake, don't overestimate their mental capacities.

Wow...I just read through most of this thread. Very interesting. To be honest, I don't understand it. This is the reason I do not have a DA account. Although there are some of the best realism artists in the world on there, I feel there is too much bullshit. Sadly, the bad outweighs the good on DA for me.

Yeah, fakes and anime. That pretty much sums it up.

I don't think it's all that bad. The fact that DA is somewhat of a networking place, some people try to become popular by making false claims. You'll find people doing the same thing on My space, and Facebook. It seems to me the honest people out number the dishonest ones by quite a large margin.

I thought I would share this. I did this last Saturday.
I was actually puzzled at first when I saw Artlit's sketch drawing of the eye. I even wondered if he had really drawn that one bit of it, but I noticed something strange about how some of the lines went perfectly vertical and horizontal in places. I remembered that the pencil in Photoshop does that too. After doing some experiments I realized it was even simpler than that he used the tool at 1 pixel (even using the paint brush will give you straight line in places if you do that) and then blew it up to 225% on a layer above the canvas layer. Here's the results. (mine is on the right, if you couldn't guess)

I think it deserves another DA deviation.

But be careful ...

Don't worry. I've already decided that Artlit would be the last faker I'd expose, and replicating the Megan Fox "drawing" would be my last attempt at trying to convince people at DA.

It can still go on, but someone else has to play the role of the accuser. Any takers?
Here's one to get you started.

Be careful, Graham. She's pretty big at DA, and I can't find any other provable fakes amongst her work. She did go along way to make people think this one was legit. Even did a ruined version of the drawing. You might just want to send her a private message saying "I know what you did"

And I'm nothing at DA. I won't be causing a big stir if I out her publicly. And since the worse they can do is take away my DA account (oh no, not my DA account!) I really have nothing to lose. Doing it quietly isn't my style... we'll just see how it goes.
