Well, I think you shouldn't be afraid of making your drawing darker. Proportions of your drawing are good :) nice attempt

agree with tommy,,use softer pencils,,try to fill up the drawing with darker shades

I have a dog in my house. He is a cute little pet of our house. I Want to draw a sketch of him. So, can you suggest me that which type of pencils are used to draw a sketch.

You can still achieve darker tones with the pencils you are using,practice cross-hatching etc..
A drawing will look flat unless you give it tonal changes,seek out the darker pencils..they are not that expensive,but will liven up your interest.
Buy yourself a cheap mechanical pencil..hb will be fine,it gets deeper into the paper.
