Durham Cathedral Columns - Cross Hatching *FINISHED*

After a long absence here is an update of the drawing, so far not much more added and quite frankly sick to death of this drawing but motivated by getting the Time Lapse drawing completed.



Love to get some feed back on this and the video, any comments or corrections greatly appreciated... ...although its done with pen so I won't appreciate it that much... lol

Just keep showing your Art Al,I don't think anyone will criticise your style or capabilities,should all be published in a book.

This is great Alasdair. I love the composition, it just works so well. and the detail is coming along very well indeed. I will follow this with interest. I've not tried any work with pen but have been surfing today and I've been inspired by a number of online biro artists.

Oh this is so good. Cross hatching with pen is not easy. Do you do ink washes i'm curious, Back in the day that's how we were taught to incorporate them ink wash then ink over the top. Either way this is excellent work! keep it up!
