New Computer

I just bought a new computer a few minutes ago. I ordered it so it will take about a week until I actually get it. But I just wanted to know if anyone has owned an Acer or could tell me if they are a decent brand. I bought model AM1100-UD4000A. Then I bought the 22" flat panel monitor.

Just bought a stereo system for it too.

I figured I might as well go all out. I got the screen for $240 so I thought it was a good deal.

I like everything about it so far. Although I've heard a lot of bad things about Windows Vista.

I had the altec lansing speakers ordered but I canceled my order. I was doing a lot of research on speakers and heard tons of positive comments about Klipsch. So I ended up spending a little bit more but I'm glad I got this system instead. I can shake my house with it.



And yeah, I really need high speed internet but you should see where I live. It's not even available here. I'm in the middle of the woods.

Christmas gift to yourself? We should all do that! Now you will have a new toy to tinker with over the holidays! I have never heard of Acer. I am also a computer illiterate! My husband is the computer geek in our house and he's a Mac lover. So I am limited in my experience. I'll have to ask him about that one.

One of these days I am going to learn how to use the computer for my drawings. I guess for now I have to remain old fashioned!
