Back to an old argument. Remember this guy who claimed he copied a photo pixel by pixel, except in areas that were fairly flat in color.
In those areas he claimed he just put a base color down.

I tried to get people to look at the area near his signature what appeared to be a fairly flat area. It was hard to show using two separate iamges. Now that I can create animated GIFs, I hope it's a little easier to see.
If you look at it closely you can see it looks spattered fairly close up.
This is what is known as noise. Both images match exactly, which means he didn't put a flat base color down, and it's pretty irrefutable that his claim was false, and he did nothing more than cropped off the web address on an already existing photograph.
