There's always some drama filled, argument going on on someone's digital post saying how its 'cheating' or 'not art.' But since coming back I learned of the new Digital Art thread and was extremely happy.

I think the digital art argument has subsided. There hasn't been anymore "DON'T BE FOOLED BY DIGITAL ART" editorials posted in the Drawing section... or any section that I know of.

You're right..I didn't really read any of the newer posts before I said that. I don't want to call people out but I've also noticed a lot of the people who argued digital art haven't been posting lately either. But yeah, you're right, the digital art movement has been accepted as of late and in most circumstances considered an equal to all other mediums.
Shawn King does digital art stuff. Yo.

Jeff i really want to get into DA now, i think i will open an account tis next week.

Aside from the now quelled arguments i like havin all the digital art in one section.

I always thought it should be seperated, not because it was better or worse than any other medium. But it needed to be defined by its construction and presented alongside other works that can help show the support of people on this site. Hopefully the section would attract new digitally based artists to the site.
David.
