Christmas traditions in different countries
I thought about making a post of different traditions of Christmas.
And I began with my country.
In Spain it's similar like England or Usa, but it has some special features.
Like the day the presents are given, the old tradition is to give them the night of 5 of january and the children open them the 6 of january.
The magic kings that gave JesusChrist the presents of Gold, incense and myrrh following the guide star in the firmament arrive from Orient with their camels, they are Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar. Melchor is the oldest and with white hair, Gaspar has red hair and Baltasar is the black one. They can enter in every house in spain using their magic powers.
You have to be polite to them, and give them a little of meal and something to drink, and they will give you a lot of sweets.
I you have been good you will have a lot of presents, but ig not the magic kings are good and they will leave you at least a piece of sweety carbon.
And as they are kings, we receive them in a cavalcade
Feliz Navidad!
