Habits of Drawing people

Hello boys and girls.

I have an interesting question for you.

I'm trying to learn drawing, again ( :D ), don't know where to begin really expect for practicing drawing lines and what not. Ultimately I would like to draw comics, but I know that that is not possible without proper foundations. So right now I'm looking at some drawing courses online, and reading some books about beginner drawings and things like that.

My question is regarding this... What did you guys do to begin drawing? What did you start with? And how much do you draw a day these days? And what kind of blogs you read or news you follow or sites you visit? :)

Thanks very much for any kind of insight you give me! It would help me a lot find my way!

Thanks,
Cheers!

Re: Habits of Drawing people

Started copying Disney characters from comics and slowly progressed going into school.Did my Art exams in 1975/6 and never picked up a pencil until about 1983,finally started drawing again around 2010 and had to re-teach myself.Times and products have changed greatly since i first started, the difference now is there is so much obtainable information on the web.
