This is something I started recently. It has come out fairly well so far, but I honestly don't care for it too much. I think it needs some sort of background to make it more interesting. I might end up just finishing it how it is though.

This is the reference picture. Looking at it now makes me realize I haven't looked at the computer one in a while, just the print off. I've been making up some of the details and changing little things.

Looks good on the tarmac,do you think you can replicate the cloud/sky? Or you can opt for putting the car in front of anything..choices are all yours mate.

And now I just have to freehand the wheels. The best part of drawing cars!

Yeah haha. About a week after I started it I saw the other one and had the same realization.

Doing the wheels was terrible, but they came out decent... a little better than I thought I had the patience for. Scan is kind of blurry and the contrast is off a little.

Looks good, I find it interesting in the different styles and approaches for the same reference .. I myself, prefer no background, I just want the focus to be on the car or whatever I'm drawing. But to each his own!!!! looks good though

Thanks Chad. Now that it's done it looks fine. I don't think it needs a background really, but it just seemed a little bland to draw when I was doing it.

You did a good job on this one, I seldom add backgrounds to my pictures either.

This is a stunning drawing.
I am an avid Mustang enthusiast and you certainly did not disappoint with this.

Thank you for sharing.
