I tried drawing Sandra Bullock

Okay, so I tried to draw Sandra Bullock, but I'm not really happy with the result.
I think there's something terrible wrong with the left eye.
So I would love to hear what you guys think about the drawing in general and what I should do about the eye.

Re: I tried drawing Sandra Bullock

To me it looks as though the left eye is slanting down on the right side to far. In the picture the top of her eye on the right side seems much closer to her eyebrow. Thats what I can see anyway, eyes can be tricky! I like what you have done so far though.

Re: I tried drawing Sandra Bullock

Hi Lianne,When i first looked at your Artwork my immediate reaction was really good, great piece of popart/poster style.
Now criticism,Her eye whites run nearly parallel, her chin drops down on viewers right, more dark shading by the bottom nose area, and viewers left eyebrow needs lowering..to wide a gap between the lid and eyebrow.

Re: I tried drawing Sandra Bullock

A really good attempt.

Look at how her hair ends, and draw hair in the direction it grows.

I cant wait to see what you do next.

Re: I tried drawing Sandra Bullock

It took me a while, but I finally decided that I wanted to correct the drawing.
Here's the result:

I'm still not that happy with the result, but I'm not gonna work on it anymore 'cause I'll only make it worse
