Ash Rai portrait

Well I finally finished my Ash Rai portrait, I'm sure there are areas in which I could have really improved it, but I'm sick of looking at her now!!

It took me around 25 hours using 2B, 2H and F for the circulism on the skin, and 2B - 8B for the hair. Drawn on Bristol smooth A4 size.

I'm quite happy with the hair on top but at the ends it looks rushed, I may attempt to fix it after a few weeks away from her.

Re: Ash Rai portrait

Hey Jazzy Paul, love it,I reckon tinkering is the biggest problem with coming to the end of a drawing,I can honestly say most of us find it easy just walking away :^o ,we get so snow-blind and wrapped up in the subject. As you said, move away and come back later with a clear focus.
My latest (Tilly) i had the lady coming round my place booked for 15.00,15.10 i was still making adjustments... :D
