Started a new drawing This time I decided to challenge myself by not using any sort of smudging tool (so no kleenex or tortillions) just straight up pencil control. Right now I'm jumping all over the place the only done part is the arm in the upper right.

The process is pretty slow, the layer upon layer reminds me of colored pencils

Sorry Russ, I guess I must have accidentally deleted that part. I'm using a 0.3 Mech pencil with B lead, 2mm lead holder with 2B lead, an Ebony pencil, and various erasers on Strathmore bristol vellum. Size is roughly 7.5x10

Another update, still jumping around . The bottom lip still needs some work.
