Hair is certainly the point which i have to work with. Right now I'm trying to find the right paper, I really want to get that bristol.

nice drawing,,,you r right hair need some attention,,and also skin toning could be a bit more darker or deeper, as the eyes are dark they stick out too much coz the skin tones are not worked out that much in dept (may be its just the quality of the picture taken with camera)

I'm trying to go darker and darker with each drawing till i got that right technique.

I think you've got off to a brilliant start for a beginner, i've been at it a few years and still my work isn't perfect, but that's half the fun, you should be proud of this, you worked hard on it and it certainly shows, very well done and i look forward to seeing your progression.
Like i've been told numerous times though, this may help you.
Don't be afaid to go darker and try your best not to rush anything, but at the end of the day art is art, it's only limited to what you want it to be!
Treat others as you'd wish to be treated.
