Well my dog lives outside but I have heard of some ways to deal with madly barking dogs. Everytime the dogs barks walk up to him say "no" and without touching him (he will think its a reward if you do) clip the lead on him and take him to a room that is not enjoyable or entertaining maybe bathroom or kitchen. Shut him in the room for 30 seconds and if he is quiet, let him out and just repeat until he stops. It should work unless he is stubborn.
