Re: somewhere

Fantastic work. Next think you should try is to blend in those planets into the environment.

Re: somewhere

Not just the transition between the edges, you should also work on the sharpness, contrast and the lightning of each object on the painting. Currently the image has no depth and no real light source, or has too many light sources which is kinda confusing. Try to render just one ball or planet at the time in a room or space with only one light source for start. After you could add a landscape or something beneath but focusing again on the main light source. You should also think about the type of the light source, like would it be a bulb, candle, sun, moon or something else. Knowing where your main light source is, makes adding shadows much easier and the end result will be much realistic. One more thing that stabs the eyes on your painting is that the nearer objects are more blurred than the objects that are in the distance, which is in this situation confusing and takes away from the general experience. There are a lot of things that you should think about when doing a painting, a lot of planning should be done before you even lay your brush on your canvas, if you are trying to follow some rules from the world which surrounds us, but if you want to do abstract and surreal paintings, then you should just let your mind go and let the brush flow.
