Photomanipulation

This was done with the help of a tutorial which wasn't particularly easy to follow in places and so I had to just make certain things up as I went along. I quite like the end result though.

Is this one called "Death on the Road"?

The background looks like a real photo, and after you painted the grim reaper?

Impressive.

Oh sorry, I wasn't clear in my explanation. The background is a real road. It's a stock photo. The grim reaper is also a stock photo as is the dustcart so none of the main images were painted/drawn by myself but rather just manipulated. The things that I did by hand so to speak are the blast effect around the reaper and ripples on the road etc. There's a fair few layers and various effects that went into the completed picture.

I'm not even sure if I should post photo manips here because it's not like I drew the whole thing from scratch but rather used images already available and just added to etc.

Hey man it's art and it looks super cool so why not post it?

Although, Shepard Fairey (the artist that made that famous Obama "Change" poster) is being accused by the Associated Press, who took the original picture, of stealing their image even though he radically changed it.

Nonetheless, that is a really cool effect you achieved! Would be cool to see what else you can do with it!
Just your typical waffle-loving Canadian.
