What would you like a drawing tutorial on?

Dear artist, if you could ask for a drawing tutorial on any subject, what would you chose?

How to draw the female figure
How to draw the male figure
How to draw fantasy figures
How to draw dragons
How to draw faces
How to draw dogs
How to draw horses
How to draw birds of prey
How to draw animals
How to draw views

Any other you would like? Anything, just ask!

Birds of prey admiring flowers.

Also whales playing violins.
Just your typical waffle-loving Canadian.

Fair enough Arne BUT, I demand that the nude male figure has a severe "conqueror" pose. Perhaps while he is measuring the scene with his brush.

Re: What would you like a drawing tutorial on?

Sorry for not choosing from the list.

I wonder how to blend colors while painting? I mean, I can blend with ear buds or paper or cloth or just using fingers. For example, when I want to make something blurred. How to do this using colors? Should I use water?

Look at this drawing for example : http://www.dueysdrawings.com/oil_painti ... inting.jpg. This is superb! How did he paint it?

Any suggestions?

Re: What would you like a drawing tutorial on?

If it was done traditionally (tomatoes that is) then the background is not painted in great detail. You can see how the shapes are there an enough detail to show you what it is but it is not as detailed as the tomato in the foreground.
So the easiest way would be for you to paint your painting then the areas that you want blurry or out of focus (as is the case with your example) would be to choose which part of your painting you want to be the focal point (tomato in the foreground) and only apply details to that section of your painting.
