I learned to draw from copying comic book artists.

Drawing is the ability to see more than the ability to move the pencil with your hand. If you desire to learn to draw, you are half way there. Stating that you majorly suck will do nothing for your drawing skills. Better to say you are a aspiring artist than that you majorly suck. One of the most successful and loved artists of all time would be R Crumb. He started out drawing fantasy characters in his own comics when he was like six years old. So you are not alone.

You can practice and practice some more. Then copy other artists. And read everything you can about at. And take some classes if possible since there is nothing better than having someone stand over you and point out your mistakes and bad habits on the spot. Good luck with your art.
